These frogs seem comical until you realize they are basically just waiting around for the giant herons to pluck them up for a meal. Well, that’s pretty funny, too!

I take this road to work now, cuz it’s seldom traveled and my van won’t go over 35 until I can afford to get the transmission fixed. I don’t care. I like taking the long way.

This little guy was out on the side of the road when I drove by. On the way back, I saw a lot of his buddies, too, but I didn’t want to spook them. The highway was just a mile away. Hope they got back to the farmer OK.
I forget what these are called but they tag along behind cattle, right on their heels, waiting for insects to get stirred up in the dirt.
